INDUSTRIAL SAFETY ORIENTATION – ONLINE COURSE
The Industrial Safety Orientation training meets BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan legislative worker orientation requirements (as per the new GSO Guideline) and introduces the basic principles of hazard recognition, evaluation and control. The program discusses common industry hazards, as well as employee and employer expectations relating to methods of control. Industry and company expectations are covered, such as “right-to-refuse” and drug and alcohol compliance, in addition to applicable legislative requirements.
While it is not possible to cover all of the hazards a worker may encounter on a worksite, the Safety Orientation training has been designed to meet the new GSO Guideline, key legislative requirements, Certificate of Recognition (COR) audit criterion and common prequalification elements. The Industrial Safety Orientation can also meet client specific requirements and be recognized as an alternative to CSTS and PST.
